Two people -- one adult, one child -- were shot at a Noblesville middle school today.
Predictably, former Gov. Pence tweets "prayers".
Sigh!

News Flash: Pence and Holcolmb are Roomies!
File this under election integrity.
After all the brouhaha about where a certain former Indiana GOP senator hung his hat, along comes this shocker.
Mike Pence -- who pretends to live in the vice-president's residence with Karen -- actually rooms with the current Indiana governor.
Or, so he testified -- by voting absentee in this week's primary using the Indiana Governor's Residence as his legal abode.
Read about it here.
This Indianapolis Observer has one word for this guy: hypocrite.

Mike Pence Praises Law-Breaker Sheriff
In yet another of his bone-headed moves, Indiana's ex-gov went the extra mile to laud former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio as a "champion of the law".
Y'all remember Arpaio -- who was convicted of " unlawful policing and racial profiling during his time as sheriff" and then famously "pardoned" by 45 (who always has said that you don't need a presidential pardon if you haven't done anything wrong).
You can read all about Pence's pandering here: "Mike Pence Praises Sheriff Joe Arpaio"
Sheesh!

What the Heck is Wrong with Mike Pence?
A kid with an assault rifle murders 17 other kids, and our former governor is lauding his progress at "ending" abortions?
How much better it would be if he could laud the progress of "his" administration in restricting access to military-grade weapons. Especially by kids not even old enough to drink!
How, exactly, is he working to "restore the sanctity of life to the center of American law”?
Check out: "Mike Pence Suggests Legal Abortions In U.S. Could End ‘In Our Time’"
Doesn't Pence know that women have always had abortions? But, then, he is a Republican male and his goal is to control women. Understanding the nuances of feminine existence is beyond him.

Mike Pence Blindsides Small Business Owner
Indiana's former governor spends the Christmas holidays skiing in Aspen, Colorado -- and wrecking the seasonal business plan of a hot air balloon company there (with no prior notice, it must be said).
Read about it here:
Vice President Mike Pence once said the Trump administration is “the best friend that small business in America will ever have.”
Last week, Pence cost one such small business in Aspen upward of $10,000 in lost earnings, after his presence triggered flight restrictions and prevented a hot air balloon company from making any flights while he was in town.
Snowmass-based Above It All Balloon Co. had to cancel all of its planned flights during Pence’s six-day visit....
Way to go, gov'nor!

Mitch Daniels Takes a Side Gig
Our former governor obviously has too much free time on his hands.
Daniels has been named a Contributing Columnist at The Washington Post.
He is currently the President of Purdue University, and previously served two terms as Governor of Indiana from 2004 to 2012.
Mitch can be found on Twitter at www.twitter.com/purduemitch

Few Takers for Pence Dinner Tix
Your Indianapolis Observer finds it amusing that the Hudson Institute (which fled Indy for the bright lights of New York City about a decade ago) is having trouble selling tickets for their November 28 dinner featuring Vice-President Mike Pence.
Their solicitations for purchase are increasing in frequency and evident desperation.
Maybe, just maybe, few people want to be seen in public supporting this enabler of the current president.
His credibility, after all, has been shredded during the past year.
