Norbert Krapf (pictured), newly designated Indiana Poet Laureate, will be feted at a party beginning at 5:30 p.m. 27 July in the American Cabaret Theater in the historic Athenaeum, 401 East Michigan Street, Indianapolis. Light refreshments will be provided by Jeanette Footman of Zamovar, host of the weekly Sunday Kaffeeklatsch at Perk Up, 6536 Cornell Avenue, Indianapolis.
Norbert Krapf, Monika Herzig and Friends (Carolyn Dutton on violin, Peter Kienle on bass) will perform poetry and jazz from Imagine -- Indiana in Music and Words.
Mark Kesling, CEO of the American Cabaret Theater, will announce the details of a new series he has invited the new Indiana Poet Laureate to create, Together Again: Music & Poetry.
