July 4 Holiday and Trash Pickup Collide

The Indianapolis Department of Public Works would like to remind residents that there will be NO curbside recycling, residential or heavy trash collection on Wednesday (4 July) in observance of Independence Day.

All residential trash, heavy trash and curbside recycling routes will run one day behind for the remainder of the week after the holiday. Wednesday routes will be serviced on Thursday (5 July), Thursday routes will be serviced on Friday (6 July) and Friday routes will be serviced on Saturday (7 July). All services will return to normal schedules on the following Monday (9 July).
